it's snowing!

yes that's right...it's snowing in Victoria. maybe tomorrow instead of going biking with Teresa I'll be x-country skiing somewhere!?! FUN. Here is a picture for those not living in Victoria to see. It is of my front yard. This does not happen often here.
So my friend Crys is always giving me heck for not updating my blog. This is a travel diary for documenting my adventures on my year off. ok? Crys did say I should let people know I'm alive etc. That's a good point but if you're that concerned about me not being alive maybe you should call or write me. sheesh!

Hopefully after X-mas I'll be having some more adventures to write about here. Right now I'm looking for a short-term teaching English gig in Korea. I don't want to do a whole year but most places have year long contracts. Well see.

here's a pic of Joanna and I at Mt Douglas park when we helped the Garry Oak Society cut and pull broom out of the park. i know i said i'd never do broom pulling again after my 3 week contract one summer but what the heck. it was ok for one morning and it felt very rewarding.
