on the road

i left town Monday at 4pm and drove for about 3 hours. then i crashed in Mattawa at a crummy motel that was overpriced. next day i drove just north of Saute Ste Marie. I stayed at the biggest hick town. Ate dinner at a diner where overweight workmen with scary tattooes starred at me. Went back to my motel and watched the Incredibles. Very good movie.

The scenery and weather have been great so far. There have been tons of photo opportunities but i can never be bothered to stop and get my camera out. so lazy. sorry!
I'm in love with one of my new cds. Jem: Finally woken. It's like a mix of Metric meets Esthero. so good. just thought i'd share. Also, the cds Chris made me are excellent. Volume's 1-3 of Nicole Sticks It To The Government" ha ha. that's the best title ever.

i've finally made it to Winnipeg today. Sunny, Steve and I just went downtown to the revolving restaurant and to check out "the Forks" where the rivers meet.
i'm already so sick of driving. why did i think that this would be fun? I wish i'd just shipped my stuff home and taken a flight back to BC. :(

tomorrow i'm going to leave early and drive to Saskatoon or Regina. I haven't decided yet. Saturday I should hopefully be in Edmonton at Twyla and Jeremy's place.
