Edmonton

well it's good to have finally made it to Edmonton Alberta. i'm staying at my friends from highschool Twyla and Jeremy's apartment. it's nice to be back somewhere familiar.

the drive from Winnipeg to Saskatoon was so freakin long. i stayed in a motel which would have been fine except 3 or 4 truck loads of highschool kids arrived after I checked in. man there was no peace and quiet! lots of knocking, banging and running around in the halls. i didn't do anything in Saskatoon but i would have liked to check the city out. It looked fairly nice. i was just too wiped.

i got into Edmonton around 2:30 which was good. I'll be here until Monday morning at which point i'm going to drive to Jasper. I've always wanted to stay there. If I have time I may go to Banff as well. Twyla and Jeremy say that there is still skiing. That would be very cool. My skis are in my car! along with the rest of my wordly possessions.

not sure what we're up to today. i need to do some laundry and buy film for my camera. My digital camera has started malfunctioning. not sure what's wrong with it. will be sending that thing back to the manufacturer. Dan or Dad, I may be stealing one of your cameras for my travels if mines not fixed before i leave Victoria! ;)

i need some new music. I told Twyla we're hitting a cd store today. we'll probably walk their chihuahua, Beth. she's starting to like me now. we took her to the park yesterday and she looked like a little rabbit running all over the place. when i arrived she bit me on the calf! that was frightening but it didn't hurt at all.
